Dental plans, Advise on buying a dental discount plan

I been looking at so many dental insurance and dental discount plans that I am a little tired now.  I am leaning towards getting a dental discount plan but how do I know if I am buying a real plan or a scam?  Any advise on what to check into before buying a dental discount plan?

Dental discount plans are very good and many people enjoy the saving that they get off their dental needs. They are not scams. It only that some websites may not be a clear as they should that dental discount plans are also not dental insurance.
That means really anybody can sell a dental discount plan. But only a License insurance agent can sell dental insurance. So may be if you worried about who you are buying a discount from, you may want to buy a dental plan from a web site that also sell insurance or is license to sell insurance.
That is my thoughts away. I like to know that I am getting a dental plan from a place that has a clear understanding of both dental insurance and plans to help fit my needs the best
